At one project we have been asked to support from early stage. Used material was DCM - dichlormethan.
Parameters like
have shown it shall be Ex considered.
Client told us overall highest temperature shall not exceed 200 degree celsius. So there is no possible ignition.
Long discussion followed where finally we could convince client there are other parameters as per possible ignition sources - open flame, mechanical friction, and many more to pay attention.
Pls note MSDS does not make you aware to all danger points, BUT your engineering instinct shall.
