The selection of equipment in a classified area (Zones 0 , 1, 2 , 20, 21 and 22) has to be aligned with the applicable Equipment Protection Level Ga, Gb, Gc, Da, Db, Dc, Ma and Mb installed accordingly.
Classification of Ex hazardous area zones does not require the identification of possible ignition sources.
